Porter, once again, looking like a lost dog waiting for Thurman and stalling his career. Would be funny if Thurman gets his tune up and then fights somebody else, leaving Porter in the cold.

Garcia and Porter both know that one of them will get to fight Thurman and the other be forced to fight Spence. They rather rematch a guy that already beat them, and will do so again, than get a title fight against Spence.

I was thinking DSG should of fought Granados to get ready for Porter after the loss to Keith but Porter ended up fighting Granados instead....

You seem to be salty that there are no other fighters in the world can mess with these boys in their division....LOL

Then makes a lot of money fighting Garcia and if you get past that a mega fight for a ton of money fighting Spence. I know what fans want however you honestly have to strategies your career to maximize monetarily as well. Porter fights Spence and loses then he loses fights with Thurman and Garcia. So if I'm fighting for a belt you fight a guy who barely beat you vs a whole new style not as familiar with.
dont give me that bs man!! it works both ways, if he were to choose spence and beat him that sets up a hugeee payday with thurman in the rubbermatch in a unification bout. sure throw garcia in the mix he can fight danny after spence and thurman. yea i know its the tougher route, but these guys are warriors so why choose the path of less resistance?? either way if he beats thurman that also sets up the trilogy fight. so there is money for him to be made in whichever path he chooses.

The thing is, he's not honest about it. Because he doesn't have a belt, he doesn't catch as much heat as a Thurman though. Porter uses excuses like not being ranked, or not wanting to fight for the IBF becuase he already had it at one point.

Man this is getting sad. Props to Crawford, seems to be the only one at 147 with the balls to even mention Spence's name and he hasn't even had a fight at 147 yet. Shawn is losing respect. He'd rather sit on the sidelines for God knows how long then to step in the ring and fight Spence to try and earn a title. Used to think Porter was a real one, smh

                  Indeed.

He wants no part of Spence. That much is obvious.

Quite a shame because i wouldn't mind seeing that fight. I don't think Porter is anything great but it would be interesting to see Spence having to deal with that style. Spence beats him, as any real top fighter should but Porter has a style that'll make almost anybody work hard for their victory.

He's good enough to catch Thurman with a hard body-shot and finish him! I don't think Thurman should **** with him before Spence Jr.! HIgh-risk, low-reward! No one is calling for the rematch! Everyone wants to see Thurman face Errol or Bud!
