Comments Thread For: James Curious To See How Crawford Reacts To Punches at 147

BoxingScene.com joined ATG Radio earlier this week for a chat with welterweight contender Jamal James. The 29-year-old James made a statement in his last bout when he blasted out the rugged Diego Chaves in three rounds on December 15th in California. With the victory James has won two fights in a row since his only loss which came against Yordenis Ugas in 2016.

Watched a video the other day of an insider saying there's rumours from sparring and the amateur days that Crawford's delicate around the whiskers. Obviously we haven't seen him in with a power punched as a pro so far...

That incredible defense of buds doesn't allow him to get hit too often maybe he should allow himself some punishment during sparring so put them in with a power puncher like Lucas, last night ...Crawford would tear him apart...

He already matched him with a top welter in his first fight at 147. Hes been trying for years to make the pacquiao fight too. I think your confusing Arum with Al Haymon.

How hard has arum been trying???? All he has to do is say pac you're fighting TC next. Lord knows arum and roach swore pac would fight all the top ww only to fight horn who they thought would roll over but horn had other plans. Lol. Arum could make pac vs TC if he wanted to. No confusion at all.

Exactly and can you blame him at this stage of his career? He probably wants to save that fight or a fight with Loma as his last. People really think Arum doesnt want to make that fight lol. Arum wants nothing more than to cash Manny out with one last big ppv fight against Crawford and Loma so the torch can pass and he has a new ppv star. Arum can force fights by shelving a fighter until they agree to the fight but he would be ****** to shelve his top fighters, especially Manny who still generates the highest ratings for Top Rank

#2 Welterweight in the World, Top 10 P4P. That is what Crawford's about to face.

People may not like that reality, but it's the reality.
