karram was fighting scared like a bitch but doesnt change the fact he was still winning the rounds. if lucas didnt catch him he would have lost and dumbasses would have been crying robbery etc
What was your scorecard? Matthysse-Kiram.

I thought Kiram landed very little. Matthysse caught almost every jab on his gloves. Kiram rarely let a good right hand go. He had a couple of rounds where he actually scores with a few power shots, but I'm not giving any credit for back-pedalling and jabbing the other guy's guard.Comment

I agree with you. If the fight went 12 Kiram would have probably won a 7-5 decision. He's not a bad boxer. He used his size well.Comment

I didn't keep a card but it was pretty even. 4-3 either way sounds about right. By the second round it was pretty clear that Kiram was trying to copy Postol's gameplan, and it looked like he had the size and durability to do it.
Had the fight gone on the ref was going to take a point from Kiram for holding. In hindsight he was grabbing Matthyse like that because those shots were really hurting him, but on the outside he seemed to be holding up.
Kiram looked dejected going back to his corner before the last round, and had been working less the past couple rounds. Like I said, those punches must have been wearing him down.Last edited by paulf; 01-28-2018, 01:51 PM.Comment
