Wilder has been ****ing on about unifying the division for 3 years.. He'll be retiring soon and may never unify yet he has the audacity to say he's better than the youngest heavyweight champion ever.

Mike would flatten him.. It's not even a contest
He made a really ****** comment and only brain dead Wilder fans the ones supporting his silly comment.

If tyson had the number of any modern "giant" it would definitely be wilder. Too wobbly on his feet and easy to hit.

Aside from Stiverne -- which barely counts because stiverne is the dumber version of a washed up arthur abraham and tiptoes around at 2 mph waiting for one big punch -- I haven't seen wilder fight tall or control distance very well.

Stiverne's opponent's sum win:loss ratio suggests otherwise. There are boxers who have faced much better level of opposition than Stiverne, who themselves have a better win:loss ratio in their heavyweight record.

Comments Thread For: Lennox Lewis Checks Wilder For Saying He'd Destroy Mike Tyson

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis was shaking his head after watching an interview where WBC champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) stated that he would destroy a prime, 1986 version of Mike Tyson, who at the time seemed unbeatable and capture his first heavyweight title (also WBC) and eventually unified the entire division.

Wilder would NEVER lose to the likes of Douglas, Rahman or McCall level fighters.

Sure he would. When he gets older. Every fighter loses past his prime. Wilder is nothing special. Just watch him get koed in the amateurs. Prime Mccall and rahman vs wilder is a 50/50 fight.

Those 3 are 2 levels above anyone widler has fought. Wilders poor footwork, wide haymakers, and terrible defense won't last 4 rds against prime mike.
