2015 Errol Spence Junior VS Phil Lo Greco - Contested technically at Light Middleweight. Spence is assumed to be a welterweight prospect though often fights just above the limit. Lo Greco is thought to be a Light Middleweight fighter, but was called on short notice (3 days). This was a PBC broadcast TOTT.

    Spence: Official: 149 - Unofficial: 162
    Lo Greco: Official: 152 - Unofficial: 164

Yes but the IBF controls what you weight the morning of the fight. Fighters keep rehydrating after that.
Maybe that’s why he is wanting Keef so bad and so fast. He doesn’t have to deal with his second day weigh in, if it’s for a unification fight. Maybe he’s also in a rush to fight Keef bc he’s slowly out growing 47...?

        Was it under Showtime?
2015 is very different from 2018 though, he may weigh more now. But 162 sounds like a big WW yes.

He has never missed weight and I have never heard about him having any trouble making weight. He is a true welterweight and the best one in the world. The other top welterweights probably wish he would move to 154 so they wouldn't have to give reasons for not fighting him.

I don't buy it, but what do you think? did he ever mention struggle to make weight?
154 is a barren wasteland anyway, what's you're interest in seeing him fight there?

                Did I say I wanted him at 154? I said I prefer him at 160. https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...php?p=18441639

How much do you think he rehydrates from 157 the morning of until fight time?

No idea. But Lemieux rehydrated 5 versus GGG. So we know 5 is still possible.
