Matchup-wise, worst PPV ever?

I think I'll vote for the upcoming Rahman/Maskeav fight. How the **** is this a PPV match?

Rahman vs. Maskaev is Ali vs. Frazier compared to Matt Vanda vs. Yory Boy Campas, which out of habit and the fear that the fight or an undercard would be FOY and I would have missed out.

I think Rahman's last PPV was distributed by, but not produced by or including commentary from, HBO - this one might be the same. And it might do the same 5-digit buyrate, too

It might turn out to be a good fight, but if Rahman/Toney wasnt put on PPV then this definitely shouldn't be. But, Rahman is a Champ, plus in there hasnt been a heavyweight title fight on PPV since December of 2004. However, I still think its a mistake because this fight has the word BOMBED written all over it in terms of buys.

They may figure that PPV might get them more money than the networks would offer - isn't this the show that had Tyson rumored to be color commentating? This will be more similar to the Cotto PPV this weekend than the Tarver one in that case... Just because it says HBO PPV doesn't mean it's what we expect from HBO - last year's Barrera vs. Fana was advertised on HBO as an HBO PPV as well and JCC vs. Ivan Robinson was advertised as a Showtime PPV and then ended up being I believe Top Rank...

i didnt see it but i heard taylor vs. bhop was the most boring thing you ever saw.

Taylor/Hopkins was atrocious as well.
