Who's interesting in doing a Money Pickem League?

How much would you be willing to pay as an entry fee to play?
$20-$50
What percentage of players or how many players would you like to see payed out at the end?10 players at $20, then only the champ. Anything higher, the top 3.
Would you wanna use the exact rules of the current game or would you wanna amend some rules? If you'd wanna make changes what types of changes? I'd leave NSB Pick em as is. Maybe do your version as bonus points only for those who correctly pick the outcome. Ex. Spence KO, 7th rd.
And move away from ko rds 5-8
This game would likely have an escrow to hold the entry fees for the duration of the game. Who would you most trust to be the escrow among NSB members or mods? BroBob. That's it.
Do you have any ideas or questions about this idea that maybe helpful or things others are curious about as well? Sure, pick 5 posters who are respectable and as unbiased as can be to judge the fights in case of a blatant robbery. If the consensus rules that a win was the incorrect decision, no one loses or gains any ground.

That would be the correct grammar.

Did I say that right?
But thank you for correcting me. I tried to fix the "interesting" part but it only fixed it in the post and not the title. The rest of it I could give a f#ck about. Proper grammar is highly overrated.

As ****** as it is, you should just take into account who is the cash cow and has more promotional pull to get rewarded the close rounds.
Searching for 5 unbiased posters, who are not participating and establishing a real definition of what constitutes robberies or not is probaly going to be overly complicated and will reduce the chance of this money pick em version to get going.
If one of the pick em is an eddie hearn fighter fighting in england against a no name but decent challenger, the challenger should be able to win 8-9 rounds and at least 5 of them clear, in order to consider him winning a decision.
Thats boxing, unfortunately.

I wouldn't trust anyone. If it builds up to a nice amount of money who's to say they won't just run off with it? Its no skin off their nose if they dont pay up, just log out and theyve got a free holiday courtesy of the forum. Everyone's trustworthy until there's money involved, think you guys are being a bit naive lol.

I wouldn't be opposed to see points given for split decisions both ways on the guys who picked a close decision maybe. With the ones who went the right way getting more pts obviously, but some smaller 2nd place prize given to the loser.
The biggest problem with scoring as far as this type of game would be concerned to me is usually the one wonky judge on way too many decisions who watched an entirely different fight and could sway a decision from wide to close or close to wide. That would seem to have minimal impact on the contest as well doe as I see it so again more trouble than it's worth to try to "correct" this problem.
We are getting a nice base of a dozen or so people interested at this point so another thread going deeper down the rules rabbit hole might be worth making soon to go over the particulars of what we should do in that regard, but honestly I think "keep it simple ******" might be the best approach and just hijack the free version rules.
