Absolutely. That'd be a great fight. It could go either way, but I'd have Farmer by UD. The kid strikes me as having the fire in his guts to come back strong after a razor thin loss.

I've been following Yarde with great interest and to date he's looking fantastic, but he's yet to face a real test to tell us whether he belongs in the top flight. Eye test says yeah, but when your biggest name are euro-level journeyman like Sjekloca and Nemespati there's still a ways to go. I'd like to see him in with an experienced contender level guy like Murat or Mohammedi who might make him work a little to see where he stands. If he can blast that type of guy out he's probably ready for the big boys.

Yeah. I am definitely on board with forcing the eye test to meet the fighting a tough veteran test with Yarde. I think Murat would be just right to to step up to. Beat Murat convincingly and Yarde has to move up again quickly to a Joe Smith Jr. or Fonfara if he wants to be the man chasing Bivol and Beterbiev. The light heavy division is pretty interesting at this point. A lot of solid opponents and veteran gatekeepers who aren't too far past it to test all these unproven young bucks.
