thurman has the best shot to beat spence. unlike the other guys that spence fought, thurman will not stand in front of spence and trade shots.

thurman is gonna move and box spence. keith has more tools and more experience. im not sure why he's acting like this though.

Yup and apparently these days 2 tune ups is considered ok for a years work.

Tune ups are supposed to be quick fights, quick turnaround, not half your calendar year ffs.

If Thurman was confident he would beat Spence, he would have fought him 4 yrs ago, when Spence was much greener, when Floyd offered to put his belt up for the winner. (not that he could have done that, but $ would make it happen)

Thurman turned it down, and said maybe for $10 million he would consider it. Thurman went on to fight Collazo instead, the guy that Amir Khan throttled. What a brave guy. 4 yrs later and we are still probably 2 yrs away from it happening. I don't think it will. After the tune-ups, Thurman will pursue Pacquiao, Garcia, and Porter. That takes us into 2021.

damn, i started this thread a year, i forgot about it lol thurman saying he wasn't gonna fight spence (or anyone of note) in 2018 and now he is saying the same in 2019
