    You do know the fighters have to have pro licenses to fight in the WSB fights? Also fight fax the official record keeper for the ABC counts them as pro fights.

    They are pro fights.

      On August 2nd, at the conference, a motion was introduced to the floor to separate WSB bouts from pro fights in the official Fight Fax registry that State Athletic Commissions, promoters & matchmakers use for their respective purposes of matchmaking, scouting & establishing fighters' professional career record history. The motion was passed by a clear majority voice vote. BoxRec also became the other official record keeping registry with Fight Fax having already been contracted by the ABC over the years for that purpose. Both are now recognized as the two official record keepers to be used by the aforementioned parties.

      WSB bouts are now to be treated separately from Pro boxing fights in Fight Fax's official record books
      you are wrong again nuffy, even the weight divisions are different gumby

        Paid = Yes
        Have to be sanctioned by commissions = Yes
        Same rules as pro fights = Yes

        Tell me how they aren't pro fights? The very definition of professional means they are pro fights. - Facts.

          I'd like to see the Berchelt fight before he moves up. But he's not always been able to find an opponent, so if he moves up to do so, then that's good to see. Especially if it makes for interesting fights.

          I'd be fine with a fight against Easter. A title chance in a new division while we see what plays out with the possible Linares/Garcia fight.

                  Not sure who he could fight in April though seems everyone is tied up.

                    The top 2 guys at 130. Make it happen. Then they can target Linares for the first fight at 135.
                    Unfortunately Berchelt is scheduled to fight some noname mexican already...

                      Loma is good with the money he receives because Top Rank is paying his opponents under 500k to fight him. Mikey or Linares aren't going to accept 500k from Arum to fight Loma. If Loma is ok with the money he makes than he should have no problem if Mikey and Showtime offer him what he makes now while Mikey takes the bigger split.
