Former four division world champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, had his first sparring session on Tuesday at the Roger Deshon Gymnasium, in the San Judas neighborhood in Managua, Nicaragua. "Chocolatito" has not laced on the gloves or exchange punches with anyone, since last September 9 when he was knocked out in four rounds in his rematch with Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, the current super flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Absolutely no reason why he can't come again. As long as the knockouts to Rungvisai haven't damaged him mentally he will still be a force.

If anyone has the skill and heart to make a effective return Chocolatito does......the test mentally is knowing that Rungvisai is right there above him and would probably brutalize him again

He's been doubting himself ever since he got put on his ass in the first Rungvisai fight. He didn't expect it and it took all the steam out of his approach, period.
