  • Comments Thread For: Jarrell Miller Hopes to Battle Bryan 4/28, Then Get Joshua Shot

Jarrell Miller has designed his roadmap toward a shot at Anthony Joshua. The talkative heavyweight contender from Brooklyn told Sky Sports in an interview Wednesday that he'll fight fellow American Trevor Bryan on April 28 and hopes that'll secure a fight against Joshua. Miller is expected to fight that night as part of HBO's broadcast from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, but Bryan hasn't been finalized as his opponent.

How is Trevor Bryan ranked #5 in the WBA when his best win has been against Derric Rossy?

In Bryan's last 14 fights, 10 of them have been against guys with a .500 record or worse. That is not worthy of a #5 ranking.

Miller should be able to face Povetkin for a final eliminator of sorts for the shot at Joshua from the WBA side

If this fat c*nt could fight half as well as he talked he'd have a title by now. He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

ABC bs is always happening bro.

The rankings for all these groups are suspect on their best day. And you can delve deeper with specific bs rankings like Bryan's where he's only fought one live body in his entire career (Rossy) & that f#cking fight was 2.5yrs ago. I think anyone who's not fought a live body in almost 2.5yrs should be falling from the rankings not moving up them & idk how anyone could rationally argue against that.

Succinct, accurate and to the point. Wach and Washington are abysmal and don’t even qualify as decent gatekeepers to the elite ranks, so defeating these tomato cans is hardly a statement of intent.

Crazy how a bad performance made me completely forget about this guy. 2 fights ago he looked like he could be a nightmare and his last fight made me forget he was in the mix. Hopefully he can do something that makes him stand out more in his next fight.

Wasnt this guy supposed to be a top prospect? yet hes been fighting guys with 2 wins and 25 losses in his last 2 fights

this is medium risk and no reward for Big baby, Bryan MIGHT actually rise to the occasion and show he's actually pretty good ( is he?) never actually seen him. Bizarre matchmaking/management either way...
