From there Thurman will likely have to rematch either Garcia or Porter, neither of those are easy fights. So to say that Thurman is ducking Spence is just fanboy talk. Thurman has been taking the tough fights. Granted he isn't as active as many would like, but taking on Porter and Garcia back to back has earned him my respect.
The Vargas fight is fine....especially coming off the injury. He gets props as far as that one goes.

Absolutely no reason for him to be focusing on rematching Porter or Garcia before he fights Spence. Beating either one of them AGAIN, does nothing for anybody. You don't have to be a fanboy to see that.

The fact that there was no rematch clause in the Garcia fight supports your argument. But I don't think it's going to hurt boxing if Thurman rematches either Garcia or Porter and then fights Spence in early 2019. Thurman and Spence are still going to be in their prime next year, so if Thurman is still champ a year from now I'm convinced we will see Thurman/Spence NLT April 2019.

It's like them dogs that bark at other dogs behind the fence, but soon as the gate is open you see the dog backing down or running away completely.

He knows there's a slim chance the fight happens due to Top Rank/Bob Arum vs PBC/Al Haymon politics.

Not saying he is actually scared, just sayin that his call out means absolutely nothing. If he was a PBC fighter I highly doubt he would be as vocal about fighting Spence.

I mean, when Kellerman unexpectedly asked him about Spence in a post match interview, you saw the fear clearly in his eyes and he started stuttering and making excuses, lying and sayin that Spence is moving up in weight etc etc.

You might have a point about that. I'm glad Crawford is using PBC as an excuse. So I can't call him out at the moment. But the PBC fighters, Thurman, Porter, Garcia ALL sound like pussiies when it comes to Spence.

When Garcia moved up to 147- Porter and Thurman was all over the fight. When Broner moved up they was all over that. I didn't hear shyt but we want the fight etc... Now when it is with Spence all these bytch ass fighters talk about waiting and other fighters. True ******* they should just retire and play double dutch or some shyt since they have female traits.

Wouldn't be surprised if Vargas beats up on Thurman.

I know, Vargas ain't no slouch and Thurman is about 11 months from his last fight coming off of an elbow surgery. I definitely would not be shocked in the least if Vargas puts it on him. Maybe not a KO but a one-sided beatdown for 12 rds.

Yeah, nvm, even though he's dominating cab drivers let's just say he KTFO Floyd, SRR, SRL, Hagler, and Hearn

Some of you people are dumber than wood, honest to God.

Algieri's only losses were decisions to Khan and Pac. He got beaten senseless.
Bundu had one loss, a competitive fight against Thurman. He too was beaten senseless.
Brook was the #2 welterweight and in his hometown in front of 30,000 screaming fans. And he got his face broke and most likely some bruised or cracked ribs.
Peterson is a two division champ who lost a controversial decision against Garcia not all that long ago.

Who has a better resume over the same time period??? Is Diaz and Indongo and Jean better?

My opinion is based on watching boxing for over 20 years and seeing this kid destroy good, solid fighters. Fighters that usually lose against the best, but they put up a fight and are not walk-overs. Until they face Spence, and Spence breaks their will and steals their souls. I have seen three good fighters and one elite fighter have absolutely no answer to Spence. The level of opposition combined with the eye test. I have watched boxing for the last 20 years, and I have never seen anyone like Spence.

What ww do you have ranked higher??? Garcia who struggled mightily against the same Peterson who Spence just beat into submission? Porter, the same Porter who lost to Brook here in the U.S.? Thurman who almost got KO'd by a body shot from Collazo and danced around Bundu for 12 rounds? The Thurman who struggled with Garcia? Or is Crawford and his list of zero welterweight fights ranked higher?

I don't know why all the top fighters are avoiding him, but they definitely are. That is based on Thurman, Porter, and Garcia all insisting they do not want to fight Spence. I guess you could ask them what their fear is based on. They would no better than me. I would bet it is because of his total domination of everyone.

But no, it is me that is so dumb. I don't know why I actually base my opinions on facts, such as level of opposition and the eye test, but I do. You can say that is dumb all you want, but all that does is prove you are either 1) totally ignorant and at least borderline ******ed or 2) a dumb troll. You have just proven that.

Lay off the crackpipe my man.

And Algieri's best win outside of Provodnikov was in kickboxing? Pac beat Algieri as bad as Errol...YEARS ago. So fighting an older Bundu and TKOing him makes Errol #1 TBE evar?!?! No. Thurman is a hypejob. Just because Thurman struggled with Danny "gift" Garcia and Shawn "no skills smothering" Porter does not mean any of them are good. I have said MANY times WW is - by far - the most hyped division. You've got a handful of guys who are close in skill level which makes them look a lot better than of them are individually. WW is Top 5 WEAKEST division atm.

Spence and TC are #1a/b at WW. There's no debate about it. Spence hasn't fought a top challenge yet and TC hasn't fought at the weight.
