I didn’t mean it as a slight against Wilder, more just the state of the HW division. In terms of who’s in the division I’d say it’s the best win he can have outside of AJ, but that’s just kind of sad isn’t it? Not his fault. I used to crap on a Wilder all the time but he’s earned my respect by trying to step up and people keep failing tests. Not his fault, it’s just the division isn’t its hottest right now.

IMO it’s a cool division because they all have lights out power. Wilder, AJ, and Ortiz all have that shut down power that ends fights. But to me it’s kinda sad because I wouldn’t consider any of those guys a career defining win for a Lewis or Tyson. Heavyweight is the most exciting it’s been in over a decade but it still doesn’t have that skill level we all hope and crave for.Comment
