Oscar was undoubtedly the best fighter of the 3. I would make him a small favourite over Canelo at 154.
GGG at 160 is too much. Oscar didn't move his head enough I think he gets broken down with the jab and body shots. Competitive fight for 6-7 rounds after GGG takes over for a late stoppage.Comment

He'd beat Canelo @ 154, not sure @ 160. Just would need to sit behind his jab/activity. Considering how effective that was with a slow GGG, Canelo would be overwhelmed by a much quicker DLH...oh yea, DLH would have the judge's favor.
GGG too big @ 160 but it'd be more competitive than people give DLH credit for. Had a great jab and beard, be a jab war for sure.Comment

Oscar was flat out just a better fighter then either of these guys with better wins, more accomplishes, better amateur, better olympian, more awards, more skills, ect ect. So he is the better fighter. The problem with this question is you are saying prime Oscar but prime Oscar was either 140/147 and definitely the most dominant at 135. And both these guys are full middleweights. lol The worst version of Oscar we ever saw was at middleweight a weight class he had no business ever fighting at where he was too fleshy and had no pop. Oscar turned pro at 133 won his first world title at 130 super featherweight 2 months shy of 20 years old. Canelo at 20 years old was fighting at 150 and won his first world title at 154 junior middleweight. And GGG is bigger then Canelo fighting his entire pro career at Middleweight. GGG as a amateur was a Jr Middleweight and then competed later as Middleweight including the olympics as a middleweight. Oscar was a featherweight as amatuer and competed as a lightweight in the olympics.
Weight classes exist for a reason folks both men are literally naturally 3-4 full weight classes bigger then Oscar. That's like saying either Canelo/GGG are beating world class Light Heavyweights and Heavyweights. The fact that Oscar was able to win so much through so many weight classes is amazing it's why he's a first ballot HOF and legend but his power carried up to 154 but that was it. Now if you tell me either guy has to sacrifice/weaken themselves and come down to 154 he schools both of them. But 160 he's giving up too much a weight advantage fighting guys that are just flat out too phuking big.Comment

So DLH would do minor sc****s under GGG's eye with no real swelling, and in exchange have his skull literally broken & pieces of bone exploded into his eye? that's pretty goodDe La Hoya would have to come in proper shape in order to pull it off.
Everyone saying he's just a welter, they forget a welter did this to ggg's face? Anyone think Brook is as good as DLH?

Or what about a career JMW doing this to Jacobs:

Welterweight Khan was out boxing Canelo until his glass chin gave way as well.
lol man brook had a couple "flashy" moments with no effect at all then got walked through. People talk like it was WW2.Last edited by ////; 01-24-2018, 01:31 PM.Comment
