You're very right -s he could be. Or, one of the five exceptions to the rule of hitting women I previously listed in the above post could apply. Which is why I'm withholding judgement.
However, I will say that you can't just go to the cops and say "he hit me"! And then they issue an arrest warrant. to issue a warrant there must be probable cause the supposed crime was committed.
Unfortunately, sometimes all that might be is bruises/wounds. Which she could easily have obtained elsewhere (even self-inflicted - some broads are that crazy).
