Comments Thread For: Brook: Confident I'll Beat Queen Khan, Rabchenko is 50-50 Fight

Kell Brook (36-2, 25 KOs) is very confident that he'll beat his domestic rival, Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs), but the first order of business is to overcome Sergey Rabchenko on March 3rd in Sheffield. The fight with Rabchenko will be Brook's debut at the junior middleweight limit and his first contest since losing his IBF welterweight title when he was stopped last May by Errol Spence.

I used to be in to Brook v Khan but when Kell talks about piles of money then o.k. but let that be piles of other people's money.Boxing has moved on since then and there are so many better matchups now.

Kell has moved up to L/M and is talking about catchweight Khan has said he would only ever fight him at welter.Do you really want to listen to this nonsense anymore?

They are both are their last legs career wise and might very well lose before this rattles on any more.

Missed opportunity .The fight that in the U.K. was a 9.5 is now a 4.....no piles of money from me.

Would sooner see Khan fight (for once) a top welterweight and let Kell try to progress against the top L/M .....I think they both fail with this.

Agreed. The window was 2 years ago when Brook got the IBF strap and was undefeated. It still has potential as an event, but not the football stadium superfight it could have been. Both guys are going to come across more desperate than ambitious.

I actually no longer want this fight to happen now, As much as I want brook to batter khan, i know kell just wants to cash out and retire at the end of the year.

So i dont see the point in moving up to 154 if he wont even chase a title there.
