Agree with this, I admittedly am massively impressed with spence and how he invests to the body early but he's going to have to work on not catching that straight right lead with his face.
Of course he may well just have had no respect for Lamonts power and approach Thurman more cautiously but I think it's an intriguing pick em fight and not a walkover for either fighter.

How in hell is Thurman avoiding anyone being injured & recovering. So let them all call him out hoping that he’ll them as his comebacks. Not happening. Hence Cotto-Martinez.

I agree with you on Davis-Loma. Davis is no longer a champion at 130, so I don't know how he's preventing unifications. He'll fight Loma down the road, probably at 135 or 140.

Spence is ready for the big time. I don't want to see him waste his prime waiting on fights that might never happen.

That time span isn't that bad in boxing right now, but someone like Spence can fight 4 times a year, at least 3. He needs to stay sharp as ever going forward.

I found it very odd that Thurman fought and injured his elbow the 1st week of March but has the surgery that last week of May, the same week Spence fought, cause Thurman knew Spence would beat Brook and then call him out so Thurman already had his excuse ready....Think about that ,why did he wait 2months to have surgery

I think the fact Errol Spence is talking more is to market himself. Some people say he has a dull personality and that holds him back from being a superstar. I just hope he doesn't go to far with it but it's cool for now, I have to imagine some of it is frustration for not being able to get the big names to fight him.

True plus Tank is still in his green stage which is weird to say about a guy who was champion. But he's not ready for Loma yet no use in damaging his confidence early. He might get the Erickson Lubin treatment lol
