    When P4P 1. Takes on P4P.2

In their primes, same weight class. Like Duran vs Leonard 1. I haven't thought about the rankings much, but what fights (historical) fights happened where No.1 P4P and No.2 P4P faced off against each other in their primes?

Toney vs Jones? (Unsure if both were no.1 and 2.)

I thought he was still ranked 2 by ring due too the closeness of the first bout

How were Leonard and Hearns ranked pound for pound for their first fight ? Not sure if they had pound for pound rankings back then.

Toney and Jones Jr where ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively. Pernell Whittaker was #1 when they fought.

ODLH and Trinidad where both top 3 or 4 when they fought I think, definitely not 1 and 2 though

Back then just as right now there was seldom complete agreement on where fighters belonged on pound for pound best lists. One list might have a boxer number 1 PFP and another list might have that same boxer number 5 PFP.
