I think Hurd will rough up Lara the same way Horn did to Pacquaio.

Only way Hurd wins is if Lara is passed his sell by date.If not every round will look the same Hurd is strong and big with a decent punch but he is miles behind Lara when it comes to boxing.Matter a fact this is the worst poss style for Hurd unless Lara starts to decline and by more then a little.

Maybe. I'm a Lara fan, but I've been severely disappointed in his opponent choices for a couple years now. His bank account looks sexy I'm sure, but I don't get a piece of that money & I just wanna see him fight the best guys out there....which he's not really done at all in awhile.

So yea when you are fighting subpar guys I think your best days can undercover pass you by & fans & even Lara might not even know yet. I think you take fights less serious when you fight lesser guys so you taper off more in training/don't go full throttle as much or push yourself to higher levels. And you certainly don't up your game in the ring when you are just beating guys up. Iron sharpens iron & Lara hasn't seen iron across from him in the ring in awhile so his sword isn't as sharp as it should be.

Hurd isn't a guy I think that'll be #1 in the division if I'm being honest about my stance on him, but he's a level or two up from what Lara's been fighting so Hurd will figure out where Lara's at these days.

And randomly looking at Lara's age (34, 35 a week after the Hurd fight) his time is running out so if his gas is close to E now Hurd has a better chance than anyone in several years in finding that out.

I can’t say I’ve seen any major slippage in his performance’s tbh, he’s 34 which is no spring chicken but not old enough to be considered past it. The problem is: He hasn’t fought anyone who’s been able to test him for years so it’s pretty hard to judge.

Pacquaio is miles behind Horn when it comes to boxing.
Non prime Angulo has the same size as the Cuban and able to drop Lara twice.
Hurd is big and in his prime and seems determined to land shots at any awkward angle.
I just think no amount of Lara's skill would stop Hurd from hurting Lara.
