Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Plans To Be Quicker, Aims To Crack Parker's Chin

Anthony Joshua recently admitted to being dropped in sparring by David Price but still vowed to come out on top in his next fight. The WBA Super, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion told media at the Dorchester Hotel that he had been floored by the Olympic bronze medallist as he was hyping up his unification showdown with WBO champion Joseph Parker.

Parker has rattled Joshua will Joshua let his anger get the better of him, if so his playing into the Parkers camps tactile plan. Everyone agrees Joshua is the favourite but this fight isn't as straight forward as everyone thinks. Parker is young strong and in his prime and even though Joshua showed heart by surviving the Klitschko attack by coming off the canvass, the only reason why Klitschko didn't win was he was past his best, if it was a younger Klitschko he would of finished Joshua off, so Joshua got Klitschko at the right time a fighter who was past his best, Parker will finish Joshua if catches him clean and has him in the same position. I see this fight in the same mode as Garcia v Matthysse where everyone wrote Garcia off and we saw what happened there. Don't be surprised if we see the upset of the year with Parker winning.

Yeah and I'm sure you bet on it right? This is nothing like Garcia vs. Matthysse, try again.

Might wanna check out some videos of Joshua’s early fights... you’ll probably find they’re quite comparable when it comes to hand speed. Tis what you’d expect from fighters known for throwing combinations.

I don’t think you’ll be able to crack Parker’s chin, I see a robbery decision if you win, Hearn already got the judges paid off and Britian ref to once again run in and prematurely stop the fight!!!

I totally agree with you, Hearn and AJ got the Klitschko fight at the right time, coming off a loss, 40+ year old, 18 month lay off, Klitschko knocks him out cold in his prime!!!!

Hand speed alone does not equal power.
