Comments Thread For: Errol Spence - 'The Truth' About Ambition

By Tris Dixon - IN an era of massaged records, easy options, soft touches, ridiculous mandatories and so much more, it all comes as a breath of fresh air when a fighter looks to both set and maintain high standards. It should not be that way, but too often is. Fighters look to division hop without ever cleaning up, claiming a slew of belts while never proving themselves as the number one or defining their careers...

They're trying hard to sell this guy lol! This guy just beat someone lucas matthysse annihilated years ago in brutal fashion. I mean lucas matthysse took Peterson's soul away! Yet Spence is now this monster??? If he beats thurman and Crawford he is the best imo, but I don't see how Peterson is a good step in that direction.

He also beat Brook who was a top3 WW. Be fair. Peterson is more durable at 147 than at 140. He still won every round and K him D.

Spence stops Mattyse right now. He will beat him up and punish him.

Spence is without doubt one of and maybe the most exciting fighter out there today.

Spence v Crawford ......Spence via dession or late stoppage
Unless Bud looks spectacular a the new weight (Buds my man.....but!)

Spence v Thurman ......Spence late stoppage...............
will have to tighten his defence as Thurman really digs but Keith likes time off and fight at his pace .....spence will not allow this.

Spence v Porter.......spence mid round stoppage..................Porter will try to out power Spence and be right in front of him......target practice for Spence.

Spence v Garcia.......Brutal stoppage around six......................... with Garcia completely busted up ...losing every round.

Spence v Broner.....Spence by KO around four.

Spence v Pacquiao.....Spence by KO ....Horrible to watch

Spence v Khan .......Brutal KO .......as soon as Khan stops running or sooner! and throws any combos ...fight over.

The only way I see Spence being beaten is by moving up and giving away his advantages but he's a handful for all the light middleweights and maybe most of the middles.

Errol is "The Truth!" I think Spence has a better chance to face Crawford in 2018, than Thurman! Thurman will fight a tune-up and then Porter, and that will be it for 2018!

Totally agree. This will be Hagler-esque run at WW where it'll be something for a guy to make it to a decision against him. Its clear what we're seeing. Only the biased will ignore it. (But then again we had people picking Rigo over Loma, so there'll always be some silly opinions lol)

A WW tourney is so badly needed. It won't happen but it's the only way all the questions will be answered.

Floyd is done at this level and I truly don't expect him to come back. The only one Floyd could really cause an interest with at W.W. would be Spence and Floyd is not that ******.
