I'm not convinced he beats Russell Jr. I understand that we may have to file a missing persons report for Gary sometime soon as he is nowhere to be seen, but he does have those hands.

Gary Russell Jr will win this fight but come on man he fights once every four years. He needs to get in the ring more. I remember him saying that he has three or four fights left before he retires and he wants a rematch with Lomachenko. So maybe Gary can get those fights out of the way sooner than later.

Russell will snap Diaz' head up in the air with some of his shots. Russell is faster and hits harder and no doubt will beat Diaz.

I have to agree with you to an extent, but it will not be easy, Diaz is fast and accurate himself...I see this fight as 7-5, 8-4 close well fought on both sides, but Russell getting the nod either way.

you go to feel for JoJo he has waited a long time for his title shot. For those not keeping score he ended 2016 virtually top 5 ranked by all 4 major belt orgs, on everybody top 10 rankings but because of politics rival promoters owned those belts he has been shut out. Haymon and Arum owned all the belts at his weight and 1 by 1 lesser fighters kept title shots for the last 2 years ahead of JoJo. He's a decorated amateur, Olympian, and has dominated every opponent he's faced, he's fought multiple times on HBO and drawn good crowds/ratings. Hell he was number 1 ranked by the WBO all last year but they refuse to enforce Oscar Valdez to fight him, we all know the deal with that Arum has the WBO in their pocket and Arum wants no parts of JoJo who already whooped Valdez aZZ in amateurs.

So despite already being #1 ranked and already entitled to a direct title shot he got tired of waiting for the WBO who refused to commit to a time frame for when they would make Valdez fight him and tired of putting his career on hold JoJo jumped into the WBC who promised him if he entered a title eliminator and won he would get a direct title shot for their belt. And one by one top ranked WBC fighters pulled out refusing to fight him in a eliminator. He finally gets and wins the eliminator and still has to wait because Russell dragging his feet. JoJo got a stay busy fight next month on ESPN hopefully Russell finally fights him or just vacates the belt once and for all that he has held hostage with his inactivity for 3 phuking years without trying to fight any of the other champs or top guys.
