SHOWTIME with huge announcement Jan 24

Only thing that I could imagine would justify a huge announcement would be confirmation of Joshua-Parker for Showtime and the formal announcement of a new longterm deal with Anthony Joshua.
(Being absolutely nuts, I'd guess that the announcement would be the return of Saul Alvarez and Canelo Promotions to Showtime/CBS; Alvarez vs Saunders for the WBO 160lb belt gets announced for May 5th, and then Showtime puts the screws to Golovkin for the WBC and IBF belts).Last edited by Scipio2009; 01-21-2018, 04:32 PM.Comment

I would imagine that's unlikely too, because Eddie Hearn is doing non-stop fight conferences at the moment. He has khan on Tuesday so I doubt he would be traveling straight to America afterwards for an announcement the next day? Presume it's one of the fights already mentioned here for something much more low keyComment

The plan is to announce on Wednesday that Deontay Wilder vs. King Kong Ortiz is airing live on CBS. PBC may confirm dates & networks for other fights that day as well, but Wilder vs. Ortiz taking place on CBS (which I've posted about repeatedly for weeks) is supposed to be confirmed on Wednesday.Comment
