  • How many PPVs would Spence vs Crawford sell now?

Two great American welterweight in a unification after Crawford beats Horn. So how many PPVs would it sell.

I probably say 100k or less, in another 18 months with good build up then I reckon about 300k.

It wouldnt sell for sht. Sorry to break it to you Crawford fans but he is no different than Mikey Garcia as far as personalities are concerened.

Crawford has a gaptooth and has a personality of a wood. Victor Ortiz is more interesting than him. Nobody gives a *** about Crawford because he isnt a household name. He doesnt have that star quality.

            Spence-crawford does maybe 100k

                Not many.

PPV is dying and it's very difficult to build a new PPV attraction right now.

The most reliable way to build a PPV attraction historically is to beat the previous PPV attraction. Mayweather retired undefeated, so nobody from the new generation had the torch passed to them.

If Spence vs. Crawford was next, and was a co-branded SHO/ESPN pay-per-view, it would likely sell around 150,000 PPV in North America.

200k-300k probably. Crawford needs to get a key win at 147 or just a W the main****** fan knows about the guy better. And Spence, like most PBC guys, suffers in popularity cuz his career keeps stopping & going. He was waiting for Kell, he was waiting to defend the title. The biggest names in the game always got a fight coming up & don't sit on the sidelines like Spence has been. And Spence gots a belt now so it looks even worse when he's in limbo for months like he was previous to the Peterson fight getting made & like I suspect he'll be for the next several months unless Hearn or Dana White or some other promoter picks him up.
