vs khan.. shady actions by the ref. seemed like home cooking. it was a war though. a khan win or a draw seemed fine as well but khan was definitely in enemy territory. FOTY candidate.

vs diaz.. legit win. diaz had his moments but peterson was clear winner. seemed like he employed this same strategy vs spence. he was counting on spence punching himself out.

vs garcia.. how to score the first 6-7 rounds? seemed like peterson was just coasting while danny racked up points. he did good work the last couple rounds walking danny down with power shots but seemed like a case of too late. this was my thinking watching it live I haven't rewatched it and scored it. watching live danny earned the win.

Khan Lost, I thought Peterson outworked him and outfought in a lot rounds.
Garcia fight I scored a draw.
And the Diaz fight I scored 114-114 also

I always liked Peterson. He's just hard to rate because of how inconsistent he is. I did think Diaz deserved the nod over him.

I thought he edged Khan out in a close one. Khan was warned for pushing a great many times but he kept pushing him a hell of a lot. If the ref's repeated warnings are completely ignored he has to take a point away. I thought Garcia edged him out in a close one. Peterson ran too much and landed fewer punches than Garcia landed in many of the early rounds. I didn't see his fight with Diaz.

diaz beat him pretty easily. that was a pretty terrible decision. he looked like a walkin punch bag for most of that fight. i guess people gave him credit for coming forward? he also beat matthysse robbed!
