Comments Thread For: David Price: I Think Deontay Wilder Could Beat Anthony Joshua

Olympic bronze medal winner David Price could certainly see WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) beating out Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) - if they ever step in the ring against each other. Both Joshua and Wilder are scheduled for big fights in the month of March.

"I think Deontay Wilder could beat him, simply because he's got a little bit more of an unpredictable side to him as far as his boxing is concerned. Joshua is more well-schooled, with a hands up defence. But Wilder is massively wild and his speed at long-range could beat Joshua to the punch. I would have them level and obviously Tyson Fury," Price told Sky Sports.
    He's right.

Agreed. The fight is attractive because Wilder has the weaponry to beat Joshua if things go his way.

If they fought 10 times I think Joshua would win maybe 7 of them. He's stronger, has better technique and can fight on the inside.

In the other two or three, if AJ makes a mistake or Wilder gets to keep him outside and manages to land a big blow, then he can stop him. AJ does have flaws and if Wilder can exploit his greater mobility and keep him outside maybe he can pick him off? Could be a good fight if and when...

Does the Fury from 2015 even exist any more? He has big questions to answer, both physical and mental before he can be considered a genius contender.

If this big stiff idiot plumber from Liverpool left A.J face down then Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder sends A.J back to the UK with the first right hand, saves him the airfare.

If Price fights Povetkin on the AJ/Parker undercard, he might not be around to see his prediction...

No doubt if wilder lands a bomb it’s game over

He may look like a Novice but he defiantly has one punch knockout power

Will wilders chin hold out if he gets ****** ? Don’t know

It’s the best fight that can be made at heavy for sure, hopefully Ortiz doesn’t punch his head off and we can see it soon .

Still think we will see whyte wilder before Joshua wilder but we will see
