oh no doubt. I'm not knocking him. Just saying Peterson knew by then he was done and was ok letting his trainer pull him out, which is wise.

I'm sure he would have gone out and fought the next round though but i think he was a bit relieved too.

I get what you're saying, and that was my initial thought. Also, I don't blame him at all for wanting out if he indeed did. He took a beating, got knocked down and came back with everything he had and hit Spence with everything he had. That was his last hurrah, and it just wasn't nearly enough. But at the end of the day, he was about to go back out there, and he had to know he was gonna go out on his shield. That's pretty damn courageous if you ask me.

Peterson knew it was over and had his trainer call it for him. Need to see spence vs a young prime fighter like porter or thurman, peterson is over the hill and wanted a payday.

Boxing fans like this are pricks. I’m a Peterson fan but I would never discredit a mans mettle after putting his health on the line against a young bull. In any fight, warriors deserved to be regarded as such when they play the part. Don’t be a ****.

I find it a shame that someone thought it was a good idea to put him in with a young lion being so inactive. It was a bullsh|t move. The guy is one of the coolest and most chill fighters out there, made to be treated as a stepping stone.

What they should have done is make Danny fight him again. Give the guy a chance to rebuild his sharpness, make some money etc. Then later this year take on someone like Spence.

Rigo: Three times the entire corner flat out said "NO MAS!!!!!" to the ref - to the point the ref had to triple check they were serious. Rigo wasn't getting up from the stool.

Brook: as game as he was, he took a knee.

Where Peterson actually was going to go out there and go for broke because he knew he was losing. He went out for that last round before the corner stopped it. That's what you didn't see. He would have gone if the corner said let's see it through. That's heart bro.

Peterson’s a warrior, he never would’ve quit like that b*tch of Brook. I thought him and Hunter both acted with a lot of class post fight

Peterson had a couple good rounds then he packed it in. It was a payday for him. If you feel offended by that I dont know what to tell you
