Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - IBF lightweight king Robert Easter (21-0, 14 KOs) had to go through fire and won an unpopular twelve round split decision over former super featherweight champion Javier Fortuna (33-2-1, 23 KOs) in a non-title fight. The scores were 114-113 for Easter, 114-113 for Fortuna and 115-112 for Easter.

It was close. Won't say it's a robbery.

But this is like the 3rd straight mediocre/below average performance from Easter. It's clear he's the weakest of the 3 champs at 135.

He probably needs to change trainers.

Easter is a bltch, and that point deduction while Easter was stumbling like a wounded giraffe was total horsecrap.

Hmm. Watching the fight, I guess I understand, but I would have given the nod to Fortuna.

It was in the sense that the ref cost Fortuna a point.
