When Collazo landed that left hand on Thurman's liver any plan of fighting Spence went out the window.

The fight will happen. People forget that boxing is a business and these guys want to get paid. Thurman knows that Spence is a great fighter and when he sees Spence he sees $. So, Thurman is following the Floyd Mayweather blueprint. I see no problem with it. The fight will happen in 2019 so I don't know why people are so upset. With Spence , Thurman and Crawford the division is alive then there's fighters like Garcia and Porter just behind .There should be unavoidable good fights soon.

What's a shame is that the only one we are going to see in the next three years are Porter vs Thurman.

Spence is better off with a promoter, Pbc fighters are scared to fight him and he'll be lucky to fight once or twice a year. Spence Crawford is going to be the real superfight at 147

???? None of these guys are breaking the bank anytime soon. Their purses will be no more than $2 million until somebody has a PPV fight.

And btw Thurman isn't pulling a Floyd lol he can't get 1 million plus PPV buys fighting guys like Ortiz and Guerrerro. And he has no where near the body of work Floyd had by the time he started "match making". He'll be forced to fight soon.

I keep changing my tune. I'm okay with Q1 2019. Thurman fights Vargas in April, then Porter in the fall. Spence gets Peterson, maybe a Collazo in the summer, then someone like Danny Garcia will be forced to fight him in the fall.

Should marinate and start to sizzle, and become a major fight for next year...

The winner beats Bud next fall.
