That's not his "walk around" weight. That's his - after the holidays / on break / vacation - weight. It's very different from a casual walk around weight. Even if he's training lightly, not trying to drop weight, he's probably a solid 165 or so. That's not extraordinary at all

You posted this before. Walking around weights are totally meaningless because some boxers walk around very fat while others like Mayweather keep their weight down. Mayweather has probably never weighed 165 pounds in his life. Does this mean Crawford is a 12 pound or more bigger boxer than Mayweather? I doubt it. Crawford is a welterweight now and that is a good weight class for him.

The only non-weight bullies I know of are Floyd Mayweather Jr. (except when he did Marquez dirty), Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Guillermo Rigondeaux. It's no coincidence that they're some of the best.
Crawford has been a weight bully most of his career. He struggled with midget gamboa.

How in god name is he going to push around guys lik thurman, or garcia, or spence.

I'll never understand these cats who weigh so much off their fighting weight throughout the year and I don't get why weight cutting isn't more seriously taken. When some notable guy dies cuz of weight cutting insanity then the powers that be will make some changes.

I agree. Calling boxers weight bullies is blaming boxers who follow a bad rule of weighing in 32 hours before the fight. If they make the weight limit for their weight class they have bullied nobody. If their opponent is too small he can drop down a weight class. A boxer can only drain himself so many pounds before he is hurting himself more than the lighter boxer he is supposedly weight bullying.

What? Struggled with Gamboa? Can't tell if serious?

Thurman, Garcia? What? These two are not even close to the level of Crawford lol

Crawford made the 140 pound weight limit many times and beat everybody he need to beat to become the only undisputed champion in boxing. That isn't being a weight bully. That is following today's rules and kicking ass. He doesn't have to push Garcia and Thurman around. He only has to beat them and I think he will do just that if they fight. I agree he will lose to Spence but so will every other welterweight in the world. Gamboa was still very good when Crawford fought him. Gamboa rocked him once but Crawford still easily beat him and knocked him out.

He is a big guy and welter looks like a good weight for him, and he could move up again.

Weight cutting has come on leaps and bounds in the last 10 years.

                    Canelo walks around near 200lbs

I think the quicker the IBF rule is extended for all of boxing the better.

We need weigh ins at 30 days, 7 days the day before and on the day of the fight where only 5% of weight is allowed to be added.

Walk around weight is WHAT THAT PARTICULAR fighter weighs when not training for a fight. What/how they eat is irrelevant. Floyd walks around at about 150ish... Crawford, when not training, stepped on a scale and weighed 177 pounds. Not hard to understand.
