when the fck did canelo "struggle" vs trout, lara and cotto? I must've missed it. he beat the dog sht out of cotto. vs trout he unveiled that slick upper body movement mofo was looking like whitaker dodging punches. and lara was in survival mode due to canelo ripping body shots. nelo clearly won all these fights.

what made his fight with ggg competitive is canelo faded. if he comes with better conditioning he boxes the eyelids off ggg and possibly stops him. even while faded he was clowning ggg on the ropes making him punch nothing but air. nelo needs to pace himself better because hes better than ggg at everything. ggg was advertised as the body attacker but it was canelo that did all body work. ggg was scared to go downstairs because nelo reflexes and counters had him shook.

nelo has a mental edge now knowing he can take ggg's power. expect him to beat the dog sht outta him in the rematch.

What surprised me the most is Canelo became the puncher and GGG the jabber.

yeah limping up cotto is such a hard task with his brittle skin post margacheato. Dude gets pumped up with head gear on in sparring by Glenn tapia. Sure, it was such a dominant performance by Canelo that he completely underwhelmed everyone in Mexico. Since you're such a ride or die Mexican, I'm sure you can read Spanish. Google the article that came out right after that fight titled México no cree en Saul canelo alvarez and see how some of your favorite Mexican boxers scored that fight.

I don't think Canelo improved that much but he has looked good against some decent fighters. I personally think the heavier weight has helped his punching power but he has always been a "slick" fighter.

I like th breakdown of the Lara/Hurd fight. I didn't even realize that Hurd didn't have an extensive amateur background or that he started late. I give him a real shot to beat Lara. At worst he will put good beating on Lara in a losing effort.

so guess getting outlanded by trout and lara isn't an indication that he struggled? Most people had lara winning. If You think he was dominant in those fights, you don't know boxing.as a matter of fact you just compared canelo to Whitaker, you definitely don't know boxing.

And if they fight 10 times he would lose ten times, and i donteven think ggg is a top 10 mw all time. Crazy how these weird trends get repeated by ppl who seem to take a shortcut to thinking.

outlanded where? compubox? those numbers are just for show and dont mean a damn thing since they're 100% always inaccurate. research the history of compubox it was created simply to engage viewers at home. its never used to determine a winner.

I would like to sit and watch canelo vs trout/lara with you so u can point me to these "struggles" he had. I must've missed them.

"If Canelo improves his stamina/conditioning..." Jesus, do you realize how many years that sentence has been said regarding Canelo? He'll never have that kind of stamina. Annoying reading people continually say that ****

funny how when Canelo gets outlanded his fans discredit compu box but then are the first ones to go to compubox to try and say Canelo landed more "power punches" than ggg in their fight. If you didn't see Canelo looking lost vs lara and not knowing how to cut off the ring while getting peppered in the face or aside from the knockdown, trout boxed him very effectively, then I don't know what fights you're watching. You must really love Canelo if you found those performances to be convincing for canelo because nobody with sense saw that. Just check the press row scoring.
