The Khan fight would have made Floyd more money, just like the Margarito fight over Baldomir.

But like Floyd said himself, His health is more important than all the money.

He even told his fans, that he not looking to fight the best, just making smart moves so he can get more money.

And didn't the fans vote for Mayweather to fight Khan when Mayweather asked him them.

And then he fought Andre Berto.

      The evidence is all there.

        Pacquiao wanted to fight Khan.

        Bob overruled him.

Floyd's his own boss though, right?

“I was aware that Bob was talking in Australia about hosting the fight there but it is fine with us,” said Koncz stressing that it was only because the deal in the UAE was not through at the time. I told Bob to go ahead but don’t close it,” he said. “When Bob said it will happen there I asked him what you are talking about? A promoter works for the boxer but the boxer doesn’t work for the promoter.
“We have had a successful bond with him but Manny is the boss. I told him why are you speaking to the media when it is just a backup plan,” Koncz, said adding that Arum later informed the media that the UAE was also a possible venue.

THAT'S WHEN THEY WERE NEGOTIATING TO FIGHT JEFF HORN IN THE UAE

                  Arum pulled rank

                  Can't go around the contract?

Why do I have to explain this to you?

                  Was Floyd his own Boss?

Or did Haymon tell him not to fight Khan?

With Manny Pacquiao’s spring return against Amir Khan off the table after an unnamed investment group was unable to produce a proposed offer of $38 million to bring the fight to the United Arab Emirates, promoter Bob Arum has pushed the bout back until later this year.

Arum, of Top Rank, was publicly skeptical of the UAE deal from the beginning despite premature tweets announcing the fight from both Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) and Khan (31-4, 19 KOs). But the Hall of Fame promoter recently spoke in Las Vegas with ABS-CBN of the Philippines to update his plans for Pacquiao.

“[The Khan] fight can’t happen in April because the people who were putting on the money were not able to,” Arum said. “Hopefully, that fight can happen in November.”

Before the Khan talks heated up, Arum had been close to finalizing an April title defense for Pacquiao in Australia against unheralded contender Jeff Horn, but Pacquiao and adviser Michael Koncz turned it down.

So you agree it wasn't Pacquiao fault then and he wanted to fight Khan.

                      Great.

                      Now what was Floyd's excuse?
