Comments Thread For: Sanchez: GGG Couldn't Go To Body, Canelo Was Nearly Running!

this is getting embarrassing but this comment takes the cake from dirty sanchez. First off Canelo didn't run he fought in the pocket more then Jacobs did who used far more movement and Canelo literally sat on the ropes for long stretches. You can't be running if you are sitting still on the phuking ropes so why couldn't GGG land any body shots when he was on the ropes NOT moving? Why did he totally abandon this punch which he's known for which Abel confirmed during post fight interviews was part of the gameplan going in and numerous times was filmed in the corner begging GGG to throw it. Plus if a guy was running from you that's when you want to throw MORE body shots not less.
It's simple GGG wanted to throw body shots has been trained to go to the body relentlessly but he couldn't against canelo. Combination of Canelo's defense frustrating him and the Canelo's fast hands and counterpunching ability took it away from GGG. When you go to the body you leave your self vulnerable to be countered and he was shook that's why he landed career single digit low body shots. And when you on the ropes you ain't running so cut the shyt dirty sanchez. GGG is slow as phuk missed all night and had his 2 best punches taken away first the body shot and second the overhand right and had to resort to pitty pat jabs most of which were just distance finding punches. Had his power totally neutralized never came close to hurting Canelo. Canelo ran yet he outlanded GGG in power punches which is huge considering Canelo threw 200 fewer punches and GGG is the bigger so called KO machine. There's a reason Eddy Reynoso kept telling Canelo between rounds to fight in the middle

Canelo is elite, and he has been in there with guys like Mayweather..... you engage, when you want to engage.....
this is just like Pacquiao with Mayweather..... with all that blurring speed, angles, and death by a thousand bee-stings..... none of which happened
..... like that devastating bodywork, cutting off the ring, and breaking him down..... none of which happened
good jab doe

Bottom line is that all this rope a dope sh it Canelo was trying was costing him rounds. He was up at least 2 to 1 after 3, and gave the damn fight away after that, to the point he had to give it his all in the least 3 rounds. But you guys keep trying to convince us that it was the smart thing to do

If you keeping score since the moment GGG stopped fighting tomato cans and C class fighters it's been nothing but excuse making each of GGG's last 3 fights. Remember GGG is too powerful and too skilled he easily KO's anyone from 154-168 he dominates and knocks out Light Heavyweights in training camp. hahaha
First he get's lit up like a Christmas tree against a 2 weight class smaller welterweight Brook. GGG was being out landed in power punches heading into the final round of that fight. Oh "he was sick that day", and my favorite "he INTENTIONALLY let Brook land bombs on him" just to get guys to fight him. But "don't worry his next fight against Jacobs he will crush him he got KO'd already and dropped by feather fisted Mora". Once again looks bad hit a lot and Jacobs like we saw most of the brook fight was tee'ing off on him and finishes the fight landing more power shots then GGG. Again excuses well "he went the distance on purpose just to get Canelo to fight him" he wasn't as hungry against Jacobs. "Against Canelo he will be animal and KO him inside 4 rounds he's too small and he has cement feet he can't move like Jacobs will get murdered on the ropes". GGG missed career 500 punches was scared to throw any body shots and was out landed in power punches by canelo. Now excuse well Canelo ran from him and that's why. 3 fights in a row of BS excuses and you idiots think he's beating Canelo in the rematch when he NEVER came close to landing anything that hurt canelo? LMAO
