He can't make the weight for 154 or he would have fought at 154. So he contracted to fight at 155. He made weight for Smith. That's why I said habitually not never. If he as you have said in the past Canelo was simply being a Diva and gaining a advantage over his opponent the fact is he didn't make weight by contracting a catchweight. If he needs that advantage over his opponent or not be weight drained he'd have to fight at 155 or what's the point of making weight. Personally I believe Canelo has a hard time making 154. The bottom line is if he wanted to be considered a 154 pound champion he has to make weight not habitually fight over the JM limit. He is a stocky guy and carries a lot of muscle. He should have moved up long ago.

I've already told you, no smart man would bet against Canelo with the way judges always favor him in bug fights (vs trout, mayweather, lara, cotto, and ggg) some. Judges automatically give him 6 rounds just for showing up. And to be honest, I think he has a 50/50 shot to win the rematch. I just think (like most rationale boxing fans) that he lost the first fight. But of course Canelo fan boys can handle that.

I cant argue with you there. I just hope the rematch is better... I liked the 1st fight but this time I want to see one of them want the belt more. I would like to see a double KO!! In a fight of the CENTURY. One that is talked about for years.

After experiencing first fight (was a bit disappointing) I can't see either winning in very dominant fashion either, we probably will have more of the same. Small chances of Golovkin knocking Canelo out or Canelo improving his stamina to outwork Golovkin. I'd say Golovkin will outpoint Canelo but it all depends on judges.

not my point. All I stated was that fans who sit there and try to act like Canelo won convincingly and discredit fans who say they thought ggg won sound ****** because there's tons of knowledgeable people who had ggg winning and its a vast majority. Just like everyone with sense knows Chavez vs Whitaker wasn't really a draw, or Lewis vs holyfield 1 wasn't a draw, or Sergio martinez vs cintron wasn't a draw. Real fans know who really won those fights. But regardless there are always fools who try to passionately argue the other way.

Im a REAL fan and I dont even known who really won that fight even AFTER watching it mulitple times.
