  • Juan Manuel Marquez, bad career move...

On Aug. 8th, JMM is fighting Terdsak Jandaeng(?) for the WBO interim featherweight title. Am I the only one thinking that JMM has the worst managment team in history of boxing? WTF are they thinking??? JMM should move up to super feather to fight MAB, PAC, EM or other big name fighters for the big bucks, instade they put him against Jandaeng. Unknown fighter who only fought in the state once.

Why Marquez hasn't made the decision to move up to Super Featherweight yet astonishes me...That is where all the competition is and where the big fights are, although I seriously doubt he'd ever reconsider a rematch with Pacquiao after their first encounter.

The Pacquiao fight basically ruined this guy. It's the end of the road for him. Lost respect for this guy.

It's funny that this thread came up cuz I actually watched the fight on VHS today again and still had Pac winning this fight. Even Ledermans scorecard had Pacman winning the fight.

Where has he been since the fight ? what about a rematch that Pac wanted ? clearly avoiding the top guns in the div. Fighting in Indoseia for ****s sake ! either he has a really bad team or he just clearly does not want to fight the top opposition.

Your not a judge my friend, you cant deny the fight was a close fight. And besides that, your a Pacquiao fan.

I'm fan of mexican and filipino fighters bro. My avatar is Vargas for ****s sake lol. I'll defend him even though I know he is shot...but that is another story.

I am a Pacquiao fan no doubt but surely Marquez could have given him that rematch had he felt he was the better man that night.

I never mentioned your race, and i dont even dislike Pacquiao just his nuthuggers. But give Marquez props for coming back from 3 knockdowns and winning rounds. Maybe the rematch will come after the Morales fight.

Regardless of what you think about the outcome of the Pacquiao/Marquez fight you can't deny that since that fight Marquez has made some pretty shady decisions. Now whether or not it is the man himself doing it or if it's his team doing it is anybody's guess but why he never granted Pacquiao the rematch he requested is a little sketchy.

Regardless Pacquiao has more pressing matters at hand.
