The margins are better here. Wilder-Ortiz does not have much to do with this fight because Wilder-Ortiz will happen in Brooklyn, not Vegas. The key to the success is that both guys win their fight, the broadcasters and sponsors that typically help stage fights as big as this chip in, which I believe they will. Add to that the fact that we will be looking at one unified heavyweight champion - all the marbles. Lastly, our PPVs cost a lot more. Even at $70, we are already looking at 3 times the margin. I believe the UK fans will buy AJ's PPV, so what you lose in the stadium, you make up a lot more from staging in Vegas, the American PPV and sponsorship as well.

It's sad that Americans have to point out why this fight should happen in Vegas.Because of Americans being ripped off $70 for PPV it dosent happen anywhere except for the US.You guys get mugged off with the pricing and you use it as a postive.LOL

Hearn has fighters in the heavyweight division and had a card on HBO November 11th with a recently signed heavyweight on it...

But moving him to HBO will delay this fight.Hearn and Joshua cannot deny then that they are ducking Wilder because the evidence will show they are.It dosent make sense to move him from Showtime who are more invested in Boxing in General.Unless something like Joshua v Miller as a intro fight in America then Joshua v Wilder with a HBO/SHO Collabration

CBS puts up something like $3m-$4m for the rights to the fights that they pick up to air. It likely won't happen, but you'd be dumb if you wouldn't think that Stephen Espinoza wouldn't sit down with Less Moonves and get a gauge for how far beyond that number would CBS be willing to go to air the undisputed heavyweight championship fight in primetime on their airwaves.

Once that is confirmed to not be viable, PPV it is.

No one is saying whether positive or negative. The prices are what they are. Some PPVs have cost even more, and more often others cost less. I, for one, don't care where the fight takes place. I am just saying there is more money to be made in the US on this fight. That's all.

But Wilder is bringing US PPV to the table.Parker/Fury/even AJ himself cant bring that to the table.I think he is going to get his 50/50.With Joshua keeping Uk PPV and Wilder getting the Larger share of the US PPV.
