Was PBC a Complete Waste of Time?

That's the main part that disappointed me. Showcase, showcase, showcase. It's like here comes another "Who cares" fight. The reluctance to match their best talent against one another for so long is what hurt them. It was only last year they were forced to start putting on more competitive bouts and less mismatches. They lost half a billion in three years and if it wasn't for those Mayweather fights they would have been bankrupt long ago.Comment

They didn't get an offer from Spike, NBC, or ESPN. They are down to Showtime/CBS (status quo) and FOX. If FOX passes, PBC was a failure. With that said, Top Rank to ESPN has been great so far, and it was a direct result of the PBC expirement. Hopefully they keep it up.Comment

Weren't most of these fights on Showtime? I get Al Haymon works with Showtime, but Showtime was showing boxing way before PBC came into the picture.
This actually proves OP's point. If all the good fights are gonna be on Showtime, what makes PBC necessary?
Non-Showtime PBC events either showed prospects against overmatched opposition or just random fights that meant nothing to nobody.
Is PBC really fulfilling its purpose if if the best fights aren't on free T.V?Comment

There's been some speculation FOX may be preparing to throw a big offer at WWE.
It'll be interesting to see where it all lands.Comment

Not just a tv offer, but buying it outright..
Wwe is a public company and stock price has soared to ridiculous highs, I believe mostly due to speculation about a takeoverComment
