true. I just think arum was expecting foreman to win that fight. Foreman had come off a good win vs Daniel Santos and Cotto was coming off a beat down by pac. That combined with the Margarito fight probably had arum thinking a move to 154 wouldn't be successful for cotto.

Very well could be true that Arum wanted Foreman to win but because he is ***ish and like you said maybe he thought the well was dry as far as Cotto.I think Bob prob knew Cotto would be too much but if not then he a white ***ish kid to promote.

thx man. im well informed and educated on this conflict. in addition ive also spent a lot of time in the west bank.

im also familiar with this guy. tho yousef is/was an israeli operative and collaborator of some type, theres some truth to some of what he says. however, as im sure u know, little truths, if presented without the bugger truths, tell a big lie.

his survival skills, his opportunism, his ability to to seize opportunities and advance himself so unscrupulously is impressive. like walid shoebat and bridget gabriel, he has reinventes himself as a propagandist for the religious right/pat robertson world. some elements of his stories are true, and he seems to have come from a place of great hardship and suffering.

but if this bad propaganda informs ur midunderstanding, then u might wanta take ur own advice.
