In fighting Santa Cruz, I thought Frampton is one small dude at featherweight.

This is Donaire's last chance to prove he has anything left, IMO. If he doesn't suddenly pick up some foot movement and stop depending solely on the one power hook like Danny Garcia does, he's done. He used to have some movement before the Rigo fight, but since then all he does is stand there trying to land a huge counter hook.

Frampton vs Donaire is an interesting fight. Both guys a little past their prime but Donaire moreso. In Belfast he will need a KO and at this stage in his career and at this weight its unlikely. Frampton had a war last time. Which would have shaken some of the ring rust but also added mileage to the clock and showed us he isn’t quite as good as he was. It could start out cagey as both guys like to be the intelligent one in the ring when they box (exceptions being Frampton vs Crux the 2nd time and Donaire vs Rigo). However even if its starts slow they are passionate warriors and it should catch fire at some stage. Donaire was taken out in a slugfest when he mixed it with Nick Walters whereas Frampton has always shown reliable whiskers.

I expect a good long fight. Frampton just has to watch out for that quick counter left hook but apart from that it should be a straight forward win for him. Khans fighting on the other channel against an un named opponent and whilst Khan is usually exciting and I want to watch his fight too, I do think that the smart choice is Frampton vs Donaire as they’re both top quality guys who will put it all on the line and we don’t often get fights like this
