I dislike Arum as much as the next guy but he has nothing to do with Thurman and Spence not locking up. Do Haymon and Floyd pay you to spew nonsense or do you just like them because...

Nothing against Thurman, it is just espn makes money off Crawford and not Thurman. TR paid Dan Rafael for the past 10 years to hype up his TR guys and downplay Haymon fighters. Now Arum and espn have a deal together.

Thurman-Spence is the only logical next "super fight" at ww. The only next "super fight" that will make espn super money is Spence/Thurman winner vs. Crawford. Crawfords only ppv did 50k buys. Nothing against Thurman, Max is just trying to promote espn's interests, which is what he gets paid for.

Thurman does have the best resume at 147 but the fact that he seems to be squeaking by in his recent fights and struggling in the later rounds (vs porter and garcia) makes it seem like he's not going to remain unbeaten much longer.

Max is becoming an ESPN shill now.

I like him better when he justs sticks to discussing the sport obhectively. Not when he's being a company man for either HBO or ESPN.

Thurman 8-4 Porter and 9-3 Danny. The reason it didn't look as impressive is because Porter and Danny have the best chins in boxing. Both guys are head and shoulders above anyone Crawford has faced. That's a fact

those are pretty generous/adalaide Byrd type of scores in Thurmans favor. I thought Thurman won both fights but barely. I'm just saying, he tends to look like a front runner and even struggled in the late rounds vs Robert guerrero. That combined with his injury and how he's sounded in his most recent interviews, I think his time is coming to an end soon. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Jesse vargas beats him and I don't think very much of vargas.
