Comments Thread For: Spence: Crawford Needs To Worry About Beating Horn Before Me

Keith Thurman. That was Errol Spence Jr.'s answer Tuesday when Max Kellerman asked him to identify his ideal opponent for an upcoming "super fight" during a segment for ESPN's "First Take." Dissatisfied with Spence's response, Kellerman pressed Spence until they discussed a potential welterweight showdown with Terence Crawford.

That interview in first take was hilarious. Max tried his hardest to throw the softest of softballs so Spence could say him and Crawford was the superfight. I wonder what his problem is with Thurman, who earned his way to the top of the division.

I hope the powers that be don't **** this up. Spence, if he beats petersen, should get thurman after.

Crawford should get Horn and Manny. Then just have the 2 fight each other before Spence has to move to 154.

Yea, it was actually disrespectful the way Kellerman dismissed Keith Thurman. Unlike all the other hyped fighters being thrown around, Keith Thurman has been earning his keep. Rather or not that continues remains to be seen, but to dismiss a guy with such quality wins as if Thurman has ZERO chance against Crawford or Spence is ignorant.

Keith Thurman is rapidly becoming a joke. He basically admitted to running away in the last few rounds of the DSG fight. He only fights once a year. And he has expressed no interest in fighting Spence anytime soon.

Spence is a beast but just like Crawford he's weight bully!

Spence uses his power in majority of his fights and body shots to win while Bud uses the ring, accurate counters to the head an body and footwork to get in out of position to evade and land his shots!

If Crawford is just as sublime at 147 or even more than he was at 140 then you have to pick him to beat Spence!

He's crafty enough, fast enough, should have enough firepower, and accurate enough to win!

It's been said Bud been drained at 140 so he may become stronger not cutting so much weight!
