I actually don't see Lomachenko being too cautious. It just isn't his way. Pac is more boxer than boxer-puncher for the last 6/7 years. And now that he has slowed down he is probably lower risk for Loma than an aggressive brawler type in a higher weight class.

The real risk to Loma is a bigger guy he can't hurt who just keeps walking him down and closing off his space. Pac doesn't force the pace in that way any more and he would give Loma plenty of time and space to box.
The moment will get to Lomachenko early in the fight and as soon as Pacquiao lands Lomachenko will fight a defensive fight if that's not his game plan from the get go, and if he uses his movement and not throw more punches than he should while being cautious he has a great chance to win. Lomachenko shouldn't be in there trying to unload 10 punch combinations on a guy like Pacquiao because that's when Pacquiao is most effective especially against a smaller guy like Lomachenko.

Good fight if it happens. Pacquiao still has some of his speed but he also has good footwork. Lomachenko should be the favorite but Pacquiao is still Pacquiao. Let's see if he can at least make it competitive if it happens

What if Pacquiao's game plan suddenly becoming a counter puncher to off set Loma's movement offense? Pacquiao's counter punching is underrated and even guys like Floyd where countered multiple times. He could be looking to not "Out combination" Lomachenko but rather put him down with single showy hard shot, considering Lomachenko does his usual approach.

Pacquiao would be considering that since Loma is now faster than him at this point.

Definitely the passing of the torch.

With GRJ, Walters, Rigo and Pac, the resume is getting stacked.

its gonna catapult pacquiao back to the top of the sport and create real buzz for his fight with crawford in the fall.

pacquiao will beat lomachenko. loma to small for pacquiao

i love the idea of this fight at 140

Well, do you remember Chris Byrd coming back to LHW, and how that worked out for him?

Pacquiao is washed up and has always struggled with mobile targets. He will quit on his stool like Dela Hoya

Is no one finding this strange that pac seems to never want to bring up Crawford, yet, as soon as Loma steps on the scene, he’s willing to drop 15 lbs to fight a fight he’d likely be destroyed in? I don’t think pac can get a win over either, but Crawford is literally at the top while loma was seemingly pushed to the top by the media.
