Given that this poster has less than 100 posts in almost 15 months, fully understanding that this is an alt for someone.

Still, I'm interested to hear what was so terrible about Creed that even Rocky 3 was considered, in your opinion, a better movie (film aesthetic can affect tastes, Rocky, Rocky IV, and Rocky II get placed differently).

Mind you, you do recall that Rocky Balboa was also a part of the series.

I have an inkling as to why you rate Creed as such, but I want to see what rationale you can come up with.

I like the Creed series.
You see rocky come full circle and now he is the old wise trainer trying to raise a young knuckle head fighter like Mickey did for him.
And the fact that the fighter he is training is the son of his deceased best friend adds more nostalgia for Rocky fans.
It is going to be hard to top the first film. Hopefully they pull it off.

Creed was the most critically acclaimed movie in the series, and the second most awarded of the films after the original Rocky movie.

There have been 7 films in the series; Rocky I-V, Rocky Balboa, and Creed.

Critics get things wrong all the time, but I'm simply wondering what you think they missed.
