Good info, thx. I feel like he's a decent boxer who is being packaged and marketed to be sold to the British Public. Like a pop singer who is given a look and a role to fill. This phony name thing certainly doesn't help change the sense that he has a plastic personality.

I think the problem with that comparison is that Lewis and Hopkins were intelligent guys. AJ seems genuinely dull. Notice that when he isn't reciting rehearsed lines, he has zero interesting things to say. Not that I think every boxer needs to be smart. I think the way he comes across in interviews has helped his, "I'm just a good lad" image, but I agree with you, I don't think that's his nature. I think his nature came out in that infamous twitter post.

I have to agree sure aj's clean on record but if you asked my opinion I don't THINK he's clean. It's hard for a world class boxer to look like a bodybuilder and especially his weight gain after the olympics
