It's easier to work on a body attack rather than stamina. If Canelo has poor stamina at this point of his career it may be a problem that he can't overcome. I don't expect a huge improvement. The one thing he has to work on is his ring IQ. Going to the ropes cost him the fight. If that wasn't due to his stamina then it was ill advised.

Golovkin did not target the body because he was unable to, not because he forgot

and Canelo makes improvements every single fight, he will be much more confident in the rematch

he has a superb team around him

Golovkin has a great trainer also. Stamina can be improved but not cured. The only thing I can see as a factor other than an inherent physical flaw is Canelo doesn't train hard and I don't believe that.
