My business is in El Monte and lot of the restuarants i go here has pictures of Joseph Diaz all over the wall. Diaz is a local star, i never knew he was from El Monte.

Respect to both Russell jr. and JoJo Diaz, two primed Americans going at it because nobody else wanted none.

I kinda like to see Diaz win because, Santa Cruz, Frampton, Selby, Valdez wont come near Russell jr. but JoJo will have the GoldenBoy machine behind him and will tempt these guys to come out and see Diaz for unifications...yes sad, but thats how it is.

On the other hand if Russell takes an L he will be ranked for a Cruz, a Selby a Valdez by the sanctioning bodies -- its ironic that he might have to lose to win if you get what I'm saying, maybe if he gets another belt he can rematch Diaz and unify, it seems like the only way Russel jr will get these guys in there with him.

Problem with fighting cans is they don't get you ready to fight the Champ. They should have fought someone in the Top 10 first before fighting Russell . I remember back in the day fighters would fight someone in the top 5 before they fought the Champ these days they fight bums cause they are scared to death to lose that zero

Damn your absolutely right. It's sad but true.... But that right there you gotta blame Al Haymon in a way..
He's in charge of all them fighters you mentioned. He can make them fight each other or keep them fools on the sideline. I really thought Al Haymon would do more with the PBC branch and he should of but Al Haymon has a tendency to cater to all his fighters. That's why they all love him but it sucks for us fans cause we get to see too many mismatches instead of the best fighting the best..

Jo Jo Diaz is a great fighter and should school Gary without any problems Jo Jos frequency in the ring will give him the edge
