    No reason to lie if he was in late 20 when he 1st started fightin tournys.You can fight ams till your 40 so WHY would Cuba lie at that time.I mean there not looking to help his future pro career that's for DAMN sure.

        no idea, was playing devils advocate, and why it does happen. maybe he was in some junior tournaments?

          Yea I know the rumer but just sayin if you go back and see when he started big tournys he was ALREADTY old 22-3 and just no reason to lie.He was not the best am in Cuba during his time so not like there were thinkin "we are gonna want him for MORE then 12 years".He was 2nd or 3rd on their list.
