The Anti PBC rhetoric is so OLD!
This is completely fake news. ESPN - which rarely covers boxing - do mention TC on their PFP lists and do give TC some time.

    Thurman doesn't get any.

HBO also very much likes TC. Thurman is a good fighter, but he's not great nor is he HOF/ATG caliber

It's convenient that he's against PPV's because he COULDN'T sell a dime if it was actually a quarter.

The guy has no draw appeal.

No power, no flashy/fancy boxing. His fights with Porter and Garcia were stinkers and all the excitement in the Porter fight was brought on by...Porter - and he probably should've gotten the decision.

The guy likes to talk himself up like he's some new car model, but he's a functioning lemon. There's nothing worth watching there. His act is horribly boring and annoying at this point.

"I'm not afraid to take a loss"..."but I can't fight Crawford or Spence next".

      Yawn, moving along. . .

Yet somehow he had the one of the highest TV ratings for his sole bout last year (5.1m viewers).

Yet he had one of the highest TV ratings for his sole bout in 2016 (over 3m viewers).

Yet when he fought on ESPN, he drew 1.2m viewers, a number Terence Crawford hasn't reached.

But maybe you're right and the facts are wrong.

Unless its Jan 1, 2019 at 12:01 AM EST they can kiss my ass LOL!!

Fight should be this year. 2018 we should have:

            Spence/Petersen then Spence/Thurman then Spence/optional and

Crawford/Horn then Crawford/Manny then Crawford/optional and then in early 2019

Crawford/Spence for the unified WW title and the winner fights Loma in late 2019.

It won't be until 2019 sadly please bare in mind Thurman has obligations because of his lay off. His got a warm up fight in March/April under the circumstances which is understandable he needs to test his hand in a competitive fight. He then has to fight his mandatory for each of his 2 belts which will probaly be Porter in the summer and end of year his secondary mandatory. Only then can he consider Spence most probably summer 2019. Sadly this happens when there's multiple world champions in the boxing world. The only way to stop this is to have one World Champ in each division but that will never happen until belts are unified. That's when the arguments will be the Alphabet bodies fighting over whose the number one contender. There's not much you can do about this tbh.

One time nickname does not match this dude. Thurman is a runner-boxer-puncher who doesnt do too much punching. I dont pay much attention to punch stats but he doesnt have a good workrate. He is an ambush fighter who shows bursts of action and goes back on the move. David Haye is an ambush fighter but he doesnt run like Thurman.

I hope Spence faces him soon.

Good points. That said, **** the mandos. request exemption. If not , drop them and fight Spence. They are the top 2 ww right now. I want to see them fight.

                    Good post.

They should fight even if Thurman hand is in a cast or sling! Thurman’s a smart fighter. Spence better get all the experience that he can to match Thurman becuz Thurman does have power too.
