How far could Tyson have gone if he had not fired Rooney?

I give him credit though for being supremely skilled. He would flatten the overrated stiffs in the modern era like Klitschko, Fury and Femi.

I don't care who says what, if Tyson stayed focused and not so fùcked up he could have beat them all. Holy, Lennox Bowe, Foreman, whoever.
The guy was unstoppable and for a HW his size, he was a supernova. Under 6'0" knocking out giants, since when have we had that since? We won't see it again in our lifetime, bet on it.

Fact is Tyson was a great fighter and if he was focused the fights he had later in his career after his original team left would of been different.
I'm not saying he would of dominated and knocked them out but it would of been competitive at the very least.

tyson had the physical gifts to beat them, he just lost the mental impetus.
Douglas was his for the losing, his one off, after that he could have pulled it together if he'd had the mental apparatus. His style is very different post prison, throwing far less, abandoning the angles, indicating a reduced tank that he simply was too diminished a man mentally to claw back after the break.

Tyson was a mental midget and would have unraveled one way or another. He would have still lost to Holy, Lewis, and Bowe even with Cus in his corner.
